GSQC Examiner Training kicks off on Friday October 1, 2010.    We will continue our successful collaboration with the Vermont Council for Quality to provide New Hampshire and Vermont participants the opportunity to meet, network, and learn from each other.  This training is part of the GSQC's Baldrige-based Awards and Recognition Program but can be taken independently as a way to improve your organization or enhance your career.  Click here for the schedule, cost, and other details.

Seven Recognized as GSQC Examiners

The Granite State Quality Council has recognized seven people for their outstanding service to the State of New Hampshire as Examiners on the 2010 GSQC Board of Examiners. Each of these people completed the New Hampshire/Vermont Examiner Training program in the fall and then participated as an Examiner to evaluate and provide Baldrige-based feedback to organizations submitting an application. Read more…

The Granite State Quality Awards and Recognition process is carried out by a volunteer Board of Examiners.  These volunteers complete a rigorous certification program comparable to an MBA course, and gain valuable insight and skills to for their own organizations and careers.  After completing the program they have the ability to evaluate and provide feedback to organizations in New Hampshire, Vermont, and other states based on the Malcolm Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence. 
Congratulations to the following newly Certified and Re-Certified Examiners who completed the Granite State Quality Council and Vermont Council for Quality Examiner Training.  Thank you each for your participation and the work that lies ahead!

Insights from the Baldrige Regional Conference

Several New Hampshire people attended October's Baldrige Regional Conference in Cambridge, MA featuring 2008 National Baldrige Award Recipients Cargill Corn Milling, Iredell-Statesville Schools, and Poudre Valley Health System. Thanks to Jack Meagher (New Hampshire Ball Bearings) and Jeff Allar (Stonyfield Farm) for the following practical insights applicable to any organization.
