The GSQC congratulates Rutland Regional Medical Center (RRMC) in Rutland VT for achieving the 2009 Vermont Governor's Award for Performance Excellence. They, along with New Hampshire and Vermont Examiners who participated on this year's teams were recognized on May 21st at the Lake Morey Resort in Fairlee, VT. Kentucky Commissioner of Education, Terry Holliday also gave an entertaining and informative keynote presentation on "Igniting a Passion for Learning".

Through all of our hard work and dedication we have reached another milestone in our Journey to Excellence." Said Thomas W. Huebner, President, Rutland Regional Medical Center. On the same day that RRMC learned they had achieved the Governor's Award, they also learned they had achieved Magnet Status, two milestones in their Journey to Excellence.
