The GSQC congratulates Rutland Regional Medical Center (RRMC) in Rutland VT for achieving the 2009 Vermont Governor's Award for Performance Excellence.  They, along with New Hampshire and Vermont Examiners who participated on this year's teams were recognized on May 21st at the Lake Morey Resort in Fairlee, VT.  Kentucky Commissioner of Education, Terry Holliday also gave an entertaining and informative keynote presentation on "Igniting a Passion for Learning".

Seven Recognized as GSQC Examiners

The Granite State Quality Council has recognized seven people for their outstanding service to the State of New Hampshire as Examiners on the 2010 GSQC Board of Examiners. Each of these people completed the New Hampshire/Vermont Examiner Training program in the fall and then participated as an Examiner to evaluate and provide Baldrige-based feedback to organizations submitting an application. Read more…

Business NH Magazine has named Northeast Delta Dental President and CEO, and GSQC Chair, Tom Raffio Business Leader of the Decade in its May 2010 issue. This recognition acknowledges what all those familiar with Northeast Delta Dental, and what the many nonprofits to which Tom has provided his time and talent already know. The GSQC is honored to be mentioned by Tom, one of our original incorporators and true champion of our mission, in the Business NH Magazine article. Read more….. 
 

Congratulations 2009 GSQC & VCQ Certified Examiners

The Granite State Quality Awards and Recognition process is carried out by a volunteer Board of Examiners.  These volunteers complete a rigorous certification program comparable to an MBA course, and gain valuable insight and skills to for their own organizations and careers.  After completing the program they have the ability to evaluate and provide feedback to organizations in New Hampshire, Vermont, and other states based on the Malcolm Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence. 
Congratulations to the following newly Certified and Re-Certified Examiners who completed the Granite State Quality Council and Vermont Council for Quality Examiner Training.  Thank you each for your participation and the work that lies ahead!
